This photo was made in the 60's, as the stunned pilot was about 4 or 6 years old, the first scooter that was my father, a lover of them during all her life, she traveled with our family vacation all the time we lived in Seville and Cartagena.
My father was from Cartagena to La Manga del Mar Menor vacation, spread over several trips, made a first trip with my mother, a second trip with my grandmother, a third with a girl who was helping my mother and a room with supplies. Can you imagine this?, A man driving a scooter in the 60's with a woman sitting on the couch with your feet back on the one hand and a child on his legs, and another boy standing between the legs of driver all without a helmet and without any body protector, after a few hours, could see the same driver with another older lady behind with another child on your lap and forth between the driver, a third time with another woman and another child, and a fourth charged with several suitcases.
The truth is that in the 60's, was quite an ordeal to go on holiday, especially for people who could not afford a car at that time were the 600 and little else. My father always told me about wonders of the scooter, in fact, I encouraged the youth to choose when I wanted to buy my first bike.
My first real contact with was the examiner to make the motorcycle driver's license, and that the test site was one of the Post of the 70, I could not tell what the model, but was using another person to examine and then had no for testing because I had failed the friend that I had to give your bike (Bultaco Lobito) and had charged for the exam, I asked the driver of the scooter and luckily gave me assure you that after I had already ridden in one, which was not true and went well because I passed the exam on the first and helped me decide to buy my first scooter. It was a 150 sprint, yellow, very nice by the way, then I had other models of Japanese motorcycles, but the years I came to agree with another scooter, this time was a 160 GT, this model was the one I liked. In fact it was the longest was with me, with this I made my first trip out of Santa Cruz, moving in the summer several weekends a month to Garachico, I also had a 200 rally, very good indeed.
scooters, after all, have something special that attracts staff, because after 54 years, this young man, who was so excited, because he looked like a big driver of motorcycle, scooter driving his father continues riding a scooter, in this case a 200DN, with the same enthusiasm I had at the time. ¡¡¡¡¡
